Platinum Games, the studio behind the Bayonetta and Nier series, has stated that it has multiple unannounced games in the works. Each project is currently at various stages of development, with some being larger than others. Platinum Games is also working with various publishers, but confirmed that its mysterious Project GG will be self-published.
Speaking to Japanese publication Famitsu recently, executives at Platinum Games had a lot to share about its future plans. The studio currently has multiple unannounced projects in development, though stopped short of providing any concrete details about them.

However, from the interview, we do know that the company is currently working on a new in-house IP that isn’t Project GG, as well as hiring Takao Yamane to head up the publishing division. Platinum Games is aiming to publish its games both digitally and physically on a global scale.
Platinum Games released its poorly received MMORPG Babylon’s Fall earlier this year, which saw a record drop in player numbers over the last few months to the point where it only had two concurrent players on Steam. Despite the game’s shocking performance, it looks like the company isn’t buckling under the negative reception and pushing forward with new titles.
In addition to Project GG, Platinum Games is also working on Bayonetta 3 for the Nintendo Switch, which is set to release this October. It’s unclear if we’ll see a new entry in the Nier series any time soon, though one of these unannounced projects might be creator Yoko Taro’s next big title. Earlier this year, director Hideki Kamiya expressed interest in mending its relationship with Microsoft to revive Scalebound, though that is unlikely to happen.
