PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds releases on the PS4 on December 7 with two exclusive items for those who pre-order any of the digital versions. These are Nathan Drake’s outfit from the Uncharted series (seen in above image) and Ellie’s backpack from The Last of Us.

We’re excited to expand our PUBG service and introduce new communities to our Battle Royale game. PlayStation has developed an amazing community of passionate gamers and we can’t wait to join them this holiday season.

PUBG will launch on the PlayStation 4 with three maps; Erangel, Miramar, and Sanhok. It will include all the major features like event mode, achievements, and the ranked system. The game requires a PlayStation Plus subscription and is also PS4 Pro Enhanced and includes support for High Dynamic Range (HDR) lighting on compatible TV’s.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is available for pre-order in three digital editions and one disc version (retailers have yet to list the price).

  1. Disc Edition – Includes the base game
  2. Looter’s Digital Edition (R469): Includes the base game
  3. Survivor’s Digital Edition (R779): Includes the base game, the Survival Pass: Vikendi, a 2300 G-Coin Pack & 20000 BP
  4. Champion’s Digital Edition (R929): Includes the base game, the Survival Pass: Vikendi, a 6,000 G-Coin Pack & 20,000 BP

Those who pre-order any of the digital versions also get a PUBG avatar and theme.

“One of most memorable moments while developing PS4 PUBG was the first time we had 100 people join a test match. Before the test, the dev team’s mission was to deliver the finished product this year – it was a big challenge and it felt almost impossible,” says Koo Sung Jeong, PS4 Lead Project Manager. “But as soon as we had 100 people drop in for the test, our confidence started to build and we pushed ourselves harder to make everything happen. We are proud of the game we have created and can’t wait to get it into your hands!”

I am curious to know if there are any PS4 players out there who are still interested in playing PUBG?

GLITCHED was created by taking everything we love and putting into one place. It contains a little something for everyone be it your favourite comic book, what to binge on Netflix this weekend, or your annual first-person shooter. The idea that one can love all the cool things is not hard to comprehend, you just need to find a place for it. That place is GLITCHED..
