PlayStation will kick off its Days of Play promotion on 2 June where players will be able to save money on games, accessories and PlayStation Plus subscriptions. Sony says that the promotion will span across the PlayStation Store, the PlayStation Gear Store (not available here), direct.playstation.com (also not available here) and select physical retailers.
At the moment, we don’t know what exactly is on sale but Sony has confirmed that PlayStation Plus subscriptions will be discounted.

For both new and current PlayStation Plus members, all 12-month plans will be offered at 25% off – this includes Essential, Extra, and Premium/Deluxe. Current PlayStation Plus Essential and Extra members can also receive 25% off a 1-month, 3-month, or 12-month membership when upgrading to a higher-tier plan.
As for the PlayStation Store, there will be a massive list of games discounted during Days of Play too. Sony usually doesn’t hold back during the sale so might be the best time to shop for your backlog.
Of course, there are also the retail sales which will kick off on 2 June too. In past years, Sony has listed a number of noteworthy products on sale. DualSense Controllers were sold at R999, and the Pulse Headset was discounted too. I suspect the same will happen this year. I don’t expect any PS5 console sales at this point though.
