PlayStation Plus February Lineup Revealed & Cloud Storage Space Increased

The January lineup didn’t look all that great unless you are into snowboarding, so 2019 didn’t get off to the best of starts for PlayStation Plus members. Sony has upped their game with the PlayStation Plus February lineup. In fact, they have managed to deliver one of the best lineups ever. With the PlayStation Plus February lineup reveal Sony also announced that they are increasing the cloud storage space for PS+ members from 10GB to a whopping 100GB. It’s an amazing extra freebie and Sony has really outdone themselves this month.

For the PlayStation Plus February lineup, Sony decided to give not one, but two AAA games for free. First up is Hitman: The Complete First Season, which is a fantastic package where players can jump into the boots of Agent 47, visit a variety of locations and take on a tonne, challenging contracts. If Sony just gave away Hitman: The Complete First Season, that would have been enough to make it an excellent month. Clearly, Sony wanted to crush it with the PlayStation Plus February 2019 lineup, so they decided to give away For Honor as well.

Ubisoft’s For Honor didn’t have the best reception when it launched in 2017, but the developer has been improving the game ever since. With For Honor being mostly a multiplayer experience, giving away For Honor’s standard edition for free will hopefully revitalize the game a bit with a great big injection of players on the PSN.

The full PlayStation Plus February 2019 lineup includes:

About For Honor

“Experience the chaos of war and choose between Viking, Knight, and Samurai factions to find your perfect fighting style. Featuring 20 different PvP maps, this game will be sure to entertain you.”

About Hitman

“Take on the role of Agent 47, the world’s ultimate assassin. Travel the globe to eliminate your targets in traditional and less traditional ways. From sniper rifles to expired spaghetti sauce, use the weapons at your disposal to become the master assassin.”

These freebies will be available to PlayStation Plus members starting 5 February until 5 March. PS3 and Vita titles will be available for a little bit longer and there is a good reason for that, as Sony explains that:

This month’s PS3 and PS Vita games will be available for a few extra days, until March 8, 2019. PS4 games will be available until March 5, 2019, when the next monthly games lineup hits. As a reminder, after March 8, 2019, PS3 and PS Vita games will no longer be offered as part of the PS Plus monthly games lineup — so be sure to download them while they’re available. Any PS3 and PS Vita games you’ve already downloaded, or will download, prior to March 8, 2019 will still be part of your PS Plus games library as long as you remain a member.
