The PlayStation Plus games lineup for September 2022 has leaked ahead of its official announcement from Sony. The leak once again comes from the reliable source billbil-kun on Dealabs. Players subscribed to PlayStation Plus can look forward to playing Need for Speed Heat (PS4), Toem (PS5) and Granblue Fantasy: Versus (PS4).
Need for Speed Heat was the last game developed by EA’s Ghost Studios before its closure. Released in 2019 for last-gen consoles and PC, the racing title brought the series back to its street racing roots and featured an impressive night and day cycle that influenced your races and encounters with the police.

Need for Speed Heat will be available to all PlayStation Plus users on PS4 and PS5. The next major Need for Speed game is currently in development at Criterion and is expected to release later this year. Additionally, the PS5 game Toem is a photography game that won Best Debut at the 2022 BAFTA Game Awards. The art style is enticing and unique and it should make for a pleasantly surprising experience.
Finally, the 2.5D fighting game Granblue Fantasy: Versus from acclaimed studio Arc System Works, which developed Dragon Ball FighterZ and Guilty Gear Strive, will be the third offering on PlayStation Plus in September. It contains all the trademarks from Arc System Works’ fighters, including a flashy animated art style, intuitive gameplay mechanics and a flashy presentation.
PlayStation hasn’t officially announced these titles so take it with a grain of salt, but the source has reported accurate leaks since September 2021 so it’s safe to say that these are the titles we can expect for next month. The games will reportedly be available from 7 September once August’s lineup, which currently includes Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2, Yakuza: Like a Dragon and Little Nightmares, concludes.
