Sony is set to announce the PlayStation Plus July lineup this week but apparently it leaked over the weekend already. While many of us got excited at the prospect of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, WRC 9 and A Plague Tale: Innocence being part of the lineup, according to users, the listing was fake.
Let us start right at the beginning. Over the weekend, a site called MyDealz posted an image which seems to have been from the PlayStation Plus July lineup. The lineup included Uncharted: The Lost Legacy and WRC 9 on PS4. In addition, A Plague Tale: Innocence was listed for PS5.

The fact that A Plague Tale was listed in the lineup made this a somewhat believable leak. The game is rumoured to be part of the July PlayStation Plus lineup since its enhanced edition was announced earlier this month. As for Uncharted: The Lost Legacy and WRC 9, these two were also believable given how old these games are.
Unfortunately, after further inspection, the leaked lineup was removed from the site. Keep in mind that MyDealz has been a reliable leak in the past but for some reason, this time they could have let us down. Users started spotting all sorts of inaccurate information on the leaked image. For starters, the image listed the games being available between from 05/04/21 – 05/31/21. These are the May dates.
To make matters worse, the creator of the image also got the age listings wrong for some of the games. For example, WRC 9 is rated E for Everyone but on the image is has T-M.
So we are now at a crossroads. The leak could be fake and the image might have been created by someone who didn’t pay attention to the finer details. However, perhaps the lineup is correct and the leaker posted the image as a “makeshift” one until the announcement later this week? Who knows right now.
Sony is set to announce the PlayStation Plus July lineup this Wednesday, 30 June 2021. If the leak is true, users are getting WRC 9 and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy for PS4. In addition, PS5 users will get A Plague Tale: Innocence. There is still a good chance A Plague Tale is part of the line-up. As for the other two, don’t get your hopes up too soon.
