Sony recently held its big PlayStation Showcase event that crammed over 30 reveals and premieres for hotly anticipated games coming to PS5 and PS VR2 at some points in the future. The show capped off with a dazzling gameplay showcase for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 but there were plenty of great surprises along the way including updates on previously announced titles. As a round-up, here’s all the announcements and trailers.
The PlayStation Showcase ran for a little over an hour and included some great reveals, particularly for its first-party lineup. Sony’s commitment to delivering more live service games was certainly one of the key focuses of the presentation which may have divided some viewers, but overall it brought some solid looks at games like Dragon’s Dogma 2, Marathon, Alan Wake 2, a weird Splatoon-esque foam game from Square Enix and the long-awaited reveal of the Metal Gear Solid 3 remake, among many others.
