2023 looks to be a massive year for PlayStation as we’re not only getting Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, the long-awaited sequel from Insomniac Games, but also huge titles like Final Fantasy XVI and Resident Evil 4, which impressed many during Capcom’s showcase last year.

Besides those heavy-hitters, we can also expect Assassin’s Creed Mirage. While Ubisoft hasn’t announced a release date for it, the game is still on track to launch in 2023 and promises a return to form for the stealth-action series. Street Fighter 6 is also another massive release from Capcom that’s pinned for launch this June. Horizon Forbidden West‘s big expansion Burning Shores also releases this April.

Survival horror fans can look forward to the Dead Space remake later this month as well as a remake/reimagining of Alone in the Dark. PlayStation VR2 is also set to make a splash this year with games like Horizon: Call of the Mountain getting gamers excited for another dose of virtual reality.

Smaller titles were also given a spotlight but make no mistake, they might end up being surprise hits this year. Stellar Blade is a new action game that will certainly appeal to hack-and-slash enthusiasts while The Lords of the Fallen also shows promise. Tchia looks like a beautiful adventure on the tropical seas, while Wild Hearts aims to bring more Monster Hunter-esque style to gaming.

PlayStation is set to have a pretty stellar 2023 and there’s a lot on offer that hasn’t even been confirmed yet. Check out the trailer below.
