Sony is set to host its next PlayStation State of Play showcase later tonight with a promising lineup of games coming to both PS5 and PS VR2. The event will run for just over 30 minutes, though there’s only speculation about what could be shown. Here’s when and where you can watch the State of Play tonight.
Over on the PlayStation Blog, Sony revealed that the next State of Play will be 30+ minutes and feature 14 titles. It’s hard to say whether or not the titles that will be showcased at the event will be from smaller studios, AAA games or a mix of the two, though historically, the shows always featured a healthy mix of both. For example, the last Stae of Play from January this year featured Stellar Blade, Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and Sonic X Shadow Generations, among others.

When to Watch
Tonight’s PlayStation State of Play will kick off at 3pm PT / 6pm ET or 12am (midnight on 31 May) CAT. It’s yet another late PlayStation show for South Africans so if you’re willing to stay up for the event, make sure to get your coffee and Red Bull ready.
Where to Watch
The State of Play will be available to stream live on YouTube, Twitch and TikTok over on the official PlayStation channels. We’ve also embedded the stream below for your convenience.
As for what to expect, there’s a good chance we’ll get a reveal for a new Astro game, a possible new trailer for Monster Hunter Wilds and some updates regarding the upcoming live service PvP shooter, Concord from Firewalk Studios. The Silent Hill 2 remake might also be on the table, though we think publisher Konami will save it for the Silent Hill Transmission event that’s scheduled to take place an hour after the State of Play.
