PlayStation State of Play September 2024 When Where to Watch

PlayStation State of Play September 2024 – When and Where to Watch

PlayStation is set to host its next State of Play later today (or tonight, depending on your time zone). Sony promises to showcase more than 20 upcoming PS5 and PS VR2 games at the event which will last over 30 minutes. Many are hopeful that we’ll get announcements for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 DLC, an update on Bungie’s Marathon and the leaked Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered. Here’s when and where you can watch the show.

As with most State of Play events, it’s best to temper your expectations before going in. History has shown the events to mostly feature third-party updates and reveals along with smaller announcements and a focus on PS VR2 (which we’re very happy Sony hasn’t completely forgotten about this generation). The bigger single-player blockbuster announcements from Sucker Punch, Naughty Dog, etc. could be saved for a larger PlayStation Showcase down the road.

Where to Watch

As for where you can watch tonight’s State of Play, the livestream is currently counting down to the event on PlayStation’s official YouTube channel. Alternatively, you can also watch the event on PlayStation’s official Twitch channel as well.

PlayStation hasn’t hinted at what viewers can expect from the State of Play, though there’s speculation that Insomniac Games will announce the DLC for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 (or potentially a spin-off game focused on Venom, as it was previously leaked). Fans are also hoping to get an update on Bungie’s PvP extraction shooter, Marathon, while it’s likely that we’ll also get a closer look at Jade Raymond’s live service game, Fairgame$.
