PlayStation has officially announced that it will host a technical presentation tomorrow on 10 September with system architect Mark Cerny leading the show. The presentation will run for around 9 minutes, though little is actually known about it. However, fans speculate that this will be the event where the PS5 Pro is finally revealed.
PlayStation recently posted on its social media pages that system architect Mark Cerny will host a 9-minute technical presentation, though the company didn’t make it clear what will be presented. The presentation is rather short so it will likely focus on new hardware – specifically, as fans have speculated, the PS5 Pro which has been the subject of several rumours and leaks over the past few months leading up to this event.
Viewers can tune into the technical presentation on 10 September at 8AM PT / 5PM SAST.

There’s a very good chance that the presentation will exclusively focus on the PS5 Pro. A couple of weeks ago, a leak from Dealabs revealed the potential design of the PS5 Pro console, with PlayStation slyly teasing the same design as part of its 30th anniversary celebration.
Additionally, a recent report from Insider Gaming claimed that the Pro console is gearing up for a release in November, meaning it will give Sony a couple of months to ramp up the marketing for its new, more powerful hardware. As of writing, not much is actually known about the PS5 Pro other than whispers of its existence among developers and some insiders.
Since this is billed as a technical presentation, it’s highly unlikely that Sony will show off any new games or make big announcements during the show. That might be saved for another State of Play rumoured to take place later this month.
