ChinaJoy is taking place from 2 – 5 August 2019 and unlike E3 this year, Sony actually plans on attending this event. The console giant has announced it will also be hosting a two-hour PlayStation press conference at the show where it plans on announcing and showing off a load of new games.
The PlayStation ChinaJoy press conference will take place on 1 August 2019 at 07:30 am South African time. You can watch the ChinaJoy press conference streamed live on the day. We will update you on sites and providers closer to the time.

The press conference will play host to seven new game reveals along with new trailers for upcoming games. Sony already teased the new game reveals through some cool artwork but the games themselves are yet to be confirmed.

A two-hour press conference is a lot of time to play host to new reveals so expect lots more taking place on the day. The only downfall of this all would be the lack of Western titles. Most of the game reveals will be targeted at PlayStation’s market in China but that is not to say we won’t get any of the games the company announces on the day.
Whatever Sony has planned, it is still exciting to see new game reveals as there could be something there for everyone. Even if the PlayStation ChinaJoy press conference will focus on the Chinese market.
