PlayStation VR2 Costs R13,499 in South Africa – Pre-Orders Now Open

South Africans will pay R13,499 for Sony’s new PS5 PlayStation VR2 device when it launches in February next year. The VR headset, which was revealed last year, comes with a new next-generation virtual reality experience thanks to new sensors, haptic feedback, high-resolution 2,000 x 2,040 OLED panels and advanced controllers. PSVR2 will launch in South Africa on 22 February 2023 and come with some accessories, games and hardware bundles.

For starters, unlike the original PSVR unit, this new system comes with two controllers in the box. Users can choose between purchasing the standard PlayStation VR2 unit and Sony’s PSVR2 + Horizon Call of the Mountain bundle. It comes packed with the anticipated VR game set in the Horizon world. Sony is also selling the PSVR2 Controller Charging Station making it easier to slot the controller into the dock and charge them without wires. The pricing for all this is as follows:
