PlayStation VR2 Delayed in South Africa

South Africans who were hoping to strap on their PS VR2 headset this week will have to practice some patience. The hardware has been delayed in the country. The PlayStation VR2 was expected to launch this Wednesday, 22 February but has now been pushed up to Friday, 24 February or later. According to the retailer Koodoo, the bad weather is to blame for the delay.

At the moment, the new Playstation VR2 headset launch date is 24 February. Of course, if the stock arrives early, it will release on time. Just don’t get your hopes up at this point for a launch-day PS VR2 gaming session.

The PlayStation VR2 is Sony’s new virtual reality headset. The device is releasing alongside a promising launch lineup of games including Horizon Call of the Mountain, Tentacular, a free VR update for Resident Evil Village and more. The release schedule for games also looks exciting with The Dark Anthology: Switchback scheduled to launch in March.
