PlayStation State of Play May 2024 When Where to Watch

PlayStation’s First State of Play For 2025 Kicks Off This Evening

The much-rumoured first State of Play for the year is taking place tonight. Sony announced the stream last night, confirming the 40-minute stream that will play host to a number of new game announcements and updates from existing titles. In traditional Sony fashion, the February State of Play is taking place at a ridiculous hour, so you’ll need to stay awake to watch it live.

The stream starts at 00:00. So technically, the State of Play is tomorrow in South Africa. The stream will commence at 2 p.m. PT / 5 p.m. ET / 11 p.m. CET / 00:00 CAT.

During the announcement, Sony confirmed that the stream has a runtime of 40 minutes. The company says it will feature a “creative and unique selection of exciting games from studios around the world”.

We don’t know what the February State of Play will include, but reports have been all over the place with rumours pointing to a God of War Greek remaster, an update on Ghost of Yotei, and there’s even a leak of a new Sonic racing game called Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds.

We’ll have to see how it all plays out, if you can stay awake, of course. If not, we’ll have the full roundup of the stream here for you to catch up on. You’ll be able to tune into the stream on both the YouTube and Twitch PlayStation accounts.
