The Pokemon Company has announced a new series developed in partnership with Netflix. Pokemon Concierge is a stop-motion animated show produced by Dwarf Animation Studio. The studio previously worked on Monsters at Work at Disney.
According to the announcement, Pokémon Concierge is set at a Pokémon Resort and tells the story of a concierge named Haru who works there. The show follows the story of Haru and his Psyduck partner who meet all sorts of new Pokemon and guests as they come to stay at the resort.

Pokémon Concierge will be heavily influenced by Japanese culture and is the first time the Pokemon series has been adapted into stop-motion content. However, this isn’t the first time Netflix has teamed up with the Pokemon Company to work on entertainment. Recently, the two companies announced a new live-action Pokemon series in the works.

With this title, we’ve decided to marry an entirely new storyline that expands the Pokémon universe with groundbreaking stop-motion animation. To bring this new world to life we’ve partnered with the amazing creative team at Dwarf Studio.”
The Pokemon Concierge show was announced alongside other Pokemon news during the celebratory Pokemon Day stream. Other announcements include new expansions for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet as well as the strange mobile app called .
