A new Pokemon Presents is taking place this week and fans can’t wait to see what the show has in store. The Pokemon Company announced that the showcase will kick off on 8 August at 15:00 CAT / 9 am ET / 6 am PT. The show is expected to run for about 35 minutes.
You can tune into the full Pokemon Presents 8 August stream on YouTube. At the moment, there’s no confirmation on what the event will include. However, we can speculate that we’ll see an update on the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet expansion pack, The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero.

The upcoming expansion pack will come with two DLCs. The first is The Teal Mask which is expected to launch within the next few months. The second DLC is The Indigo Disk – expected to launch in December.
Of course, the Pokemon Presents will also play host to an update on Detective Pikachu Returns ahead of the game’s launch in October. We will likely hear more about Pokemon Go, Pokemon Unite and the recently-released Pokemon Sleep.
We have high hopes that The Pokemon Company will share new details on the Netflix show, Pokemon Concierge too. Just don’t expect any “next-gen” Pokemon game announcements just yet. Reports claim that Nintendo is expected to launch its Switch successor in the second half of 2024. So if The Pokemon Company is working on a new game, we won’t see it for a while.
The announcement video for the 8 August Pokemon Presents did include a strange glitch teaser in it too. The video goes dark and the Pokemon logo turns purple after the ‘M’ flickers for a second. Not sure what it is but there’s something cryptic about this video for sure.
