A new domain has been registered under the cryptic name “P5T” which has led fans to believe that it could be related to another Persona 5 spin-off game. Atlus has been teasing the possibility of more spin-off titles set within the Persona 5 universe since the launch of the Musou-influenced Persona 5 Strikers and its expanded story, Persona 5 Royal. This new trademark arrives ahead of some major gaming showcases so a reveal could be in order very soon.
Twitter user @MbKKssTBhz5 recently discovered a potentially Persona-related domain name “P5TJP” which was registered on 16 May. According to Persona Central, the registrant information is hidden so there’s no way to confirm if Atlus was behind the new domain. However, given the naming conventions of previous Persona 5 domains (“P5S” for Strikers, “P5R” for Royal), this checks out.

If “P5T” is a new Persona 5 spin-off title, fans speculate that it could be a long-rumoured fighting game similar to Persona 4 Arena (which was developed by Guilty Gear studio Arc System Works). Seeing as Guilty Gear Strive is already a couple of years old now, it’s possible that Arc System Works could’ve secretly been working on a new fighter based on Persona 5, with some theorising that the “T” might stand for Tournament. As with all rumours, take this with a grain of salt.
Persona Central also revealed that several Persona-related domains have been registered since 2017 or 2018, including:
- P3RE (registered in March 2023)
- P5U
- P5B
- P5M
- PERSONA6
- PERSONA8
- PERSONA9
- PERSONA10
Keep in mind, there were several Persona 5 domains filed in the past for possible spin-off games that haven’t seen the light of day yet, so P5T could simply be another one that will seemingly never come to fruition. Interestingly, the latest registered domain for P3RE is a reference to the Persona 3 remake, which is a badly kept secret in the gaming industry right now.
In related news, a recent report claimed that Persona 6 would launch in late 2024 but might only be announced later this year.
