Media Molecule’s PS4 exclusive “Dreams” has been in development for over seven years. The game was originally announced during the PlayStation 4 reveal event way back in 2013 and ever since then, we have seen it during Sony’s E3 showcases and other reveal events. The game launched into early access earlier this year but only in the US. During the PlayStation December State of Play, Sony announced that Dreams will finally be releasing on 14 February 2020 for PS4.

Dreams is a game where you make things. Following in the footsteps of Media Molecule and its LittleBigPlanet series, the game is all about “create, play and share” as users can build anything and everything from games to gadgets, puzzles, music, paintings, characters, movies and much more. You can build whatever your heart desires from the ground up and it gives you the opportunity to bring your ideas to life using the game’s engine.
Dreams may have a heavy emphasis on creation but it also features a dedicated full-length story campaign created by Media Molecule. Those of you who played LittleBigPlanet will know how great the team is at building these experiences.
The game’s release date trailer is everything you would expect and more from the game as it shows off the endless range of stuff you will be able to play and create in-game.
