Ahead of its 17 July 2020 release date, PS4 exclusive Ghost of Tsushima has gone gold. Sucker Punch announced the news on Twitter where the developer celebrated the news.

Ghost of Tsushima marks the second big PS4 exclusive launch in less than a month. This is after Naughty Dog released The Last of Us Part II last week to huge acclaim.

Ghost of Tsushima follows the story of Samurai Warrior Jin Sakai, aka Ghost during the late 13th century. The Mongol empire has laid waste to entire nations in its campaign to conquer the east. The game features an adaptive gameplay experience as players can choose to go stealth or draw their blade hungry for blood. Its vast open-world takes you to the Tsushima Island as players explore rolling hills, burning villages and fight for freedom.
