Horizon Forbidden West is expected to launch on 18 February 2022 for PS4 and PS5. However, one big question most PS4 owners have right now is “how does the game look on the old consoles?” According to a leaked set of in-game images, Horizon Forbidden West on PS4 is looking pretty fantastic.

A user, who seemingly had access to some sort of beta, has published two screenshots of Horizon Forbidden West running on the PS4. According to the leak, these images are running on the base PlayStation 4 console.

Details as to how the user got their hands on the PS4 version of Horizon Forbidden West so early are unclear. Some Reddit users suggest that he grabbed them by using a jailbroken PS4 console that was able to download a playable build of the game. The original source of the images has since deleted the screenshots off its website. Thankfully, users managed to grab them and upload them to Imgur, where they will live forever.

We are just over a month away from seeing Horizon Forbidden West with our own two eyes. Fans can’t wait to get their hands on the game soon. Tread carefully, this leak might be the first of many to come out of the game so explore the internet with caution.
