Starting from today, PS4 owners can benefit from 3 months of free Apple TV Plus by using the app on their console. Up to now, the service was only available on PS5 and when it launched in 2021, Apple and Sony gave users a free 6-month trial with their consoles.
Sony says that all PS4 models are now legible for the free trial. It usually costs R85 per month to use Apple TV Plus but if you’re on PS4, you can now get your trial.
There is a catch to this free Apple TV Plus PS4 trial though. Users firstly need to have an Apple ID and they cannot have claimed any previous Apple TV Plus trial membership before today. This means if you claimed a free trial on PS5 or by purchasing a new Apple device, you cannot use this incentive.
If you haven’t claimed a trial before, all you need to do is head on over to your PS4, find the Apple TV app on your console in the Video section, download the app and sign in or sign up using an Apple ID. You will then be able to use the Apple TV Plus trial.

This offer ends on 22 July 2022 so you have until that date to claim your trial. You can read more about the PS4 Apple TV Plus trial over on the official PlayStation site here.
