We’re also making a big push on cross-play because we know a fundamental motivation in playing games is about connecting with friends and family who may choose to play on a different console or platform. Laura went on to explain that the arrival of next-gen means developers are no longer held back by older hardware. In addition, there’s no longer a barrier within the player community. Laura explained how different this generational jump will be compared to previous ones saying the hardware and power will not only be able to deliver better graphics compared to current-gen, but also more detailed world and richer gaming experiences.
