Sony is reportedly gearing up to release a new range of PS5 console bundles which will include two years of PlayStation Plus Deluxe. According to a new leak, the console bundle will come in a disc edition and include a redeemable code for 24 months of PlayStation Plus.
The listing which was spotted online shows off the console box and the unique artwork. It has the PlayStation Plus key art on the front with the “word” Premium detailing the bundle. It also clearly states “includes 24-month membership” (in a different language).

Of course, if Sony were to release this bundle in regions without the PlayStation Plus Premium, this would be replaced with a “Deluxe” branding. For example, here in South Africa, we don’t have the Premium service due to the lack of PS3 cloud gaming. Instead, we use the Deluxe service as our top-tier subscription.
We don’t know what the pricing is for this bundle yet. However, you can gather that it would cost the same as a PS5 console but with an added price hike to accommodate the PlayStation Plus membership. It will likely cost R14,000 – R15,000 given that a year of PlayStation Plus Deluxe costs R1429.
This bundle is a great idea too. Given the ever-growing state of the PlayStation Plus service and Game Catalogue, users will gain access to hundreds of titles when purchasing their console. The June games are arriving on the service today which include Far Cry 6 and many more. Read the full lineup here.
