The planet of Atropos is teeming with alien life and as shooters go, these aliens want to kill our protagonist, Selene. The latest video touches on her past which seems to play a major role in the game’s progression as well as the overall impact the story has on the players from a mental perspective.
While the Housecast includes a lot of discussion between Mikael Haveri, the Marketing Director and Narrative Director, Gregory Louden, it also includes some new gameplay to watch. All of this is captured on PS5 and looks gorgeous. If one thing is for sure, Housemarque definitely brought the game’s atmosphere to life as the planet is one creepy landmass that we can’t wait to explore, and die on.
There are also three other Returnal Housecast episodes to watch which you can catch up on here. Returnal is out on 30 April 2021 only on PS5. You can pre-order Returnal today from the PlayStation Store.
