Our next digital showcase will weigh in at around 40 minutes, and feature updates on the latest titles from Worldwide Studios and our world-class development partners.

Tune in live on Twitch or YouTube this Wednesday, September 16 at 1pm PDT / 9pm BST / 10pm CEST to see what’s next for PS5.

The PS5 showcase event kicks off at 22:00 South African Time this Wednesday evening. Expect a price, release date and launch lineup announcement during the event. In addition, Sony may reveal more first-party games coming to the PS5 in the coming months.

It has been what feels like the longest wait and we are finally going to know more about the upcoming next-gen console from Sony. Previous reports claim Sony had delayed the announcement from 9 September 2020 after Microsoft’s cheaper Series S console leaked. In addition, this forced the company to reveal the price and release date for its two Xbox consoles giving Sony time to adjust the PS5 price and release date.
