It: Chapter Two

PUBG Launches Today on PS4 – Watch Us Unbox The Limited Edition Media Kit

The highly-popular battle royale, Playerunkown’s Battlegrounds releases today on PS4. It has been a long time coming since its Xbox One release back in March of 2017 and PUBG on PS4 marks a new step for the game. Sony has very strict policies when it comes to games published on the PS4 so PUBG would not have released if it was not polished and refined. We all remember how bad the game was when it first released on Xbox One and that is not the case for PS4 as the engine has been optimized for the console.

The game is retailing for R469 on the PlayStation Store at the moment.

As for PS4 Pro enhancements, the game does not have 4K support for the console, however, according to the FAQ page, the PS4 Pro edition does have better graphical fidelity compared to the standard PS4. Both consoles have HDR support for the game too and run at 30FPS.

We received a cool media kit from Sony that we unboxed and want to share with you. Check it out below. I will also have a full review of the game coming up in the next few days as I put myself to the test trying to win a chicken dinner.
