TeamKill Media clearly want to utilize the power of the next-gen consoles. In an interview with GamingBolt, Quantum Error developers Dakoda Jones and Micah Jones said that for now, they are focusing on calibrating the game for the PS5 and will only begin to optimize the title for PS4 closer to launch.

“At the moment our focus is primarily on the PS5, so at first everything is going to be calibrated for that platform and we won’t do most of the optimizing for the PS4 until we are close to being finished,”

The developer also revealed just how long the game might last for. While the developers can’t put an exact time on the experience just yet, TeamKill Media says Quantum Error will last 15-20 hours.  The game is set to launch at the end of 2020 alongside the PlayStation 5.
