Are you ready to fight for your glory? Ultimate Gaming Championships (UGC) is back at rAge 2022 with rAge Drive, their action-packed, awesome fighting game tournament! Test your mettle against the best local players in the most authentic fighting game community in South Africa.
- Friday at rAge22 – Street Fighter 5 tournament that leads up to a top 3 placement.
- Saturday at rAge 22 – Tekken 7 tournament that leads up to a top 3 placement.
The finals for both these games will happen on Sunday at rAge 22 and will be an action packed day filled with fans from the fighting game community cheering on their favourite players so make sure you’re there to check it out!
The Street Fighter winner will walk away with a custom controller and trophy and a cool R5 000, and the winner of the Tekken tournament will walk away with both a custom controller and a trophy as well as a grand prize of R10 000! Winners of both tournaments will qualify for HTS fighting game tournament taking place the weekend of the 16th December. Both these tournaments have participants capped at 128 players each, so make sure you head on over to secure your registration here.
There are also retro games for sale at the UGC stand at rAge 22 as well as a “Fight For Your Kicks” event on Sunday where players will get the chance to compete for their shoe size of Exclusive Puma shoes!
