Those of you who have pre-ordered or planning on pre-ordering Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart on PS5 can now pre-load the game ahead of its 11 June 2021 release date. Insomniac Games clearly wants gamers to have the files downloaded and ready to go when the clock strikes twelve so you have a whole week to get your copy of Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart downloaded.

For those wondering, the Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart PS5 file size comes in at 33GB (33,618GB) to be exact. This means you will need just under 35GB of free space in order to install it. The download is also quite small which is great for those with slower internet lines.

Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart marks the second first-party PS5 exclusive release of 2021 for Sony. This being after Returnal that released back in April. It follows Ratchet and Clank on a brand-new adventure as they try and put a stop to Dr Naferious who has managed to get his hands on the Dimensionator. As a result, the dimensions have erupted in chaos and Ratchet and Clank now need to fix it all once again.

In the latest State of Play, Sony detailed the many PS5 features Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart takes advantage of on the console. This includes the DualSense adaptive triggers, super-fast loading thanks to the SSD and of course, bigger and more immersive worlds. Check it out down below:
