As far back as October 2018, the same month Red Dead Redemption 2 was released, there have been rumours about a PC port, from it being leaked by a retailer to files reportedly being uncovered in the game’s companion app. Now, the Red Dead Redemption 2 PC version has been spotted again, but this time, it seems more legitimate as it has appeared in Rockstar’s Social Club source code.

The code was found by Twitter user JakoMako51 in the Rockstar Social Club website and you can have a look at his tweet below, including a link where you can view it for yourself, to make things even more legitimate:
The fact that Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to PC is now quite evident. #RDR2 #reddeadredemption2pc #RedDeadRedemption2 #rdr2pc #reddeadredemption

Some might say that PC can also refer to Player Character, but since the string of code is found next to a mention of another platform, the PS4 trophies, it just screams a PC version.
Sure, the PC version has not officially been announced by Rockstar, but taking into consideration the previous leaks that seemed pretty good and this new one, the game could definitely be coming to PC sometime in the future. If Rockstar follows the same timeline as with GTA V, we might see it released sometime in April 2020, as GTA V’s PC release took 18 months since the release on the PS4 and Xbox One.
