It looks like Red Dead Redemption 2 might be heading to Nintendo Switch next, according to a ratings board. Developer Rockstar Games ported the first Red Dead Redemption to Switch last month, though it was met with a bit of criticism for its shoddy “enhancements” that did little to upscale the visuals or make meaningful improvements to the original game. The visually better sequel is seemingly coming up next.
Twitter/X user Necro Felipe pointed out a rating for a Nintendo Switch version of Red Dead Redemption 2 on the Brazilian government’s website (which has since been updated to remove the Switch listing). The rating mentioned a Switch version alongside a release for PS4, Xbox One and PC, though it was reported by numerous media outlets before being removed, it seems.

Rockstar Games has yet to make an official announcement regarding a Switch port of Red Dead Redemption 2 though if this listing is to be believed, then it won’t be long before an official announcement is made.
It might seem a bit far-fetched to think that the graphically impressive Red Dead Redemption 2 can run on the Switch’s dated hardware but somehow, Bethesda managed to get DOOM Eternal running on Switch alongside CD Projekt Red’s great work porting The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to the hybrid console, so anything is possible.
