A Redfall beta has reportedly been discovered on Steam. The upcoming open-world vampire action game from Deathloop and Dishonored developer Arkane Studios was originally planned to launch in 2022 but publisher Bethesda delayed the game alongside Starfield to early 2023. With that window fast approaching, it looks like players will be able to experience Redfall via an incoming beta.
As spotted by Reddit, a EULA is currently up on Steam detailing a beta for Redfall. Xbox, Bethesda and Arkane Studios have yet to make any official announcements regarding this but the leak comes from a pretty valid source nonetheless. The game is currently without a concrete release date but we do know that it will likely release in early 2023, so a beta arriving now makes sense.

Redfall is a new open-world action game from Arkane Studios. Up to four players can team up to explore a small town overrun by hordes of vampires as they make use of a variety of tools, gadgets and abilities to slay the bloodsucking foes. While co-op is an option, players will still be able to enjoy Redfall as a solo experience not too different from Arkane’s previous titles.

Arkane Studios released its last game, Deathloop, last year to glowing reviews. The developer was acquired by Microsoft and Xbox during the Bethesda acquisition. It’s now among one of the many first-party studios under Xbox’s banner including DOOM developer id Software, The Evil Within developer Tango Gameworks and The Elder Scrolls developer Bethesda Game Studios.
Redfall releases in 2023 for Xbox Series X/S and PC.
