Redfall Launch Trailer Ramps Up the Vampire Slaying

A week before release, Arkane Studios and publisher Bethesda have released the launch trailer for its upcoming open-world vampire slaying action game, Redfall. The game is expected to launch on 2 May next week and ahead of release, Arkane is inviting players to “bite back” as it ramps up the vampires, action and exploration in an awesome new trailer.

Redfall is set in the quaint little town of the same name that has suddenly been shaken by a mysterious vampire invasion. Blocked off from the outside world, a group of hunters set out to slay the most powerful vampires and liberate Redfall from the grip of its new blood-sucking menace. Players can choose to play Redfall either alone or with up to three other players in co-op. Story progression won’t be shared and will only apply to the host which is important to mention.

The official blurb for Redfall provided by Arkane reads:

“Redfall is an open-world, co-op FPS from Arkane Austin, the award-winning team behind Prey and Dishonored. Slay alone or squad up with up to 4 player co-op and face off against the vampires holding the island hostage. Redfall brings the studio’s signature gameplay to this story-driven action shooter. In signature Arkane style, you will choose your path across the island and through the vampire masses as you discover what caused this plague of bloodsuckers. Explore a beautifully hand-crafted open world packed with detail and shine a light on the island’s darkest corners as you fight to uncover the vampires’ secrets. Choose from a roster of heroes with unique, upgradeable skills and gear them up with customizable weaponry found all over the island.”

Redfall launches on 2 May 2023 for Xbox Series X/S and PC. It will also arrive day one on Xbox Game Pass. Check out the launch trailer below:
