Redfall Will Support NVIDIA DLSS 3, Ray Tracing and Reflex

Microsoft’s upcoming Redfall shooter will come packed with the latest NVIDIA technology support including DLSS 3 (and 2), ray tracing and Reflex. At the moment it isn’t clear exactly what ray-tracing features the game will include but if Arkane’s last game, Deathloop is anything to go off, we’ll likely see ray-traced sun shadows and even ambient occlusion.

Redfall is also going to be bundled with certain upcoming NVIDIA RTX 4090, 4080 and 4070 Ti GPUs. This includes gaming notebooks and desktop components. If you buy any of the promotional hardware during the launch of Redfall, you’ll get the fancy Redfall Bite Back Edition code with your purchase.

Redfall is quite a landmark title for the developers at Arkane. It is the studio’s first open-world co-op adventure. Up to now, Arkane has worked on more linear, hub-like games such as Deathloop and Dishonored.

The game sees players enter a fictional Massachusetts countryside infested by vampires. Taking the role of vampire hunters, players will need to take back Redfall from these creatures and gain access to the various areas in the world.

Redfall is releasing on 2 May for Xbox Series X/S and PC. It will support cross-play and cross-save as well as land on Xbox Game Pass on day one.
