Remnant: From the Ashes and Remnant 2 have surprise dropped on Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass without any formal announcement. The “Dark Souls with guns” games have been quietly added to the Game Pass library, both courtesy of Gearbox Publishing. For those who still haven’t played Remnant 1 and 2, now’s your chance to check out what all the fuss was about when these titles initially released.
Fans spotted both games on the Xbox and PC Game Pass landing pages earlier today, which is bizarre considering Microsoft typically announces when new games arrive ahead of time, giving players at least a few days or weeks notice. However, the company seems to have made an exception with the Remnant games and we don’t mind at all. Both titles are fantastic, challenging shooters that are worth sinking hours into.
