Resident Evil 3 Remake Teased in Steam Sale Art

Capcom has been killing it this year, not only with the awesome Resident Evil 2 Remake (which won “Ultimate Game of the Year” at the Golden Joystick awards) but also with the release of arguably one of the best expansions ever, Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. Apart from Project Resistance, a multiplayer title, no one really knows what the next true Resident Evil game, but it seems it might be a Resident Evil 3 remake judging by some Steam sale art.

Capcom is participating in the Steam Autumn Sale with some great discounts on their titles but for some odd reason, in promotional art, they are showcasing Nemesis, a game you can’t get on Steam at all…

This is obviously not 100% confirmation that Capcom is working on a Resident Evil 3: Nemesis remake, but why would the publisher tease the game on a platform it is not available on yet? With the success of the Resident Evil 2 Remake and fans shouting for a Resident Evil 3: Nemesis remake, it is pretty clear that the publisher is teasing something.

As you can see from the image below (from a Facebook post by the publisher advertising the Steam sale deals) Jill Valentine is standing in front of other famous Resident Evil characters from various games. Jill is wearing the same outfit she did in Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. However, the most prominent figure is probably the massive Nemesis looming over these characters.

Of course, this isn’t confirmation of the Resident Evil 3: Nemesis remake from Capcom, but it is a pretty telling tease with both Jill Valentine in her iconic outfit as well as the Nemesis taking centre stage.
