Users on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S who are struggling to find free space on their SSDs will soon have to free up even more for the upcoming Resident Evil Village. The official Resident Evil Village file size has been revealed via the Xbox Store and if you want both the game and the free multiplayer installed at the same time, users will need at least 50GB of space.
We know that the upcoming game will be longer than Capcom’s previous instalment and give than the next entry has been built with current-gen consoles in mind, the storage space is not too surprising.

According to the Microsoft Store, the Resident Evil Village file size is split into two. The base game comes in at 35GB and the multiplayer, Resident Evil Re: Verse is another 15GB which brings the total to 50GB. Keep in mind that the multiplayer is free for anyone who purchases the game.
It is also important to keep in mind that the Resident Evil Village file size which is currently listed will most likely change on or before the 7 May 2021 release date. This is thanks to possible day one updates and other changes Capcom may make to the game. These things happen.
