Now I am just as excited as you are for GTA VI, wherever it is, so forgive me if I am making something about nothing here. Rockstar Games might have teased Grand Theft Auto VI in GTA Online. Bear with me here. Rockstar Games recently released a new cryptic teaser trailer for the next content set to arrive in GTA Online. However, the teaser had coordinates embed into the video. When players visited the location in Google Maps, it took them to a road shaped in a VI.
The coordinates “38.527,-79.6129” can briefly be seen in the teaser trailer below. Instead of these coordinates pointing to a replica island where the new GTA V Heist is located, they take you to the Middle Mountain Trail road that is shaped like a VI. Yes, the road is shaped like a VI, as in 6. The video game series has always used Roman Numerals to number its games.

Furthermore, the location of the coordinates might not only reveal the possible existence of GTA VI but perhaps the game’s setting too. Could Grand Theft Auto VI be set in a fictionalized version of Virginia? Tough to say right now but we can only hope this teaser is real and not just a troll from Rockstar Games.
There have been so many reports that the game is indeed in development. Many of them say that the studio is heading back to Vice City while others say the franchise will take place in a brand-new location. As for when gamers will be able to play it. Last we heard, it was set for a 2023 release date but that was before COVID-19.
At least GTA Online players will have something new to do. The Cayo Perico Heist releases on 15 December 2020. Also, where the hell is the PS5 version at?
