Upstream Arcade has shared a new (very brief) trailer for the upcoming roguelike game, Hellboy: Web of Wyrd. The game was announced back in December during The Game Awards show and stars the late Lance Reddick.
The new trailer confirms that Lance Reddick’s voice work is still part of the game despite the voice acting passing away back in March. The game follows Hellboy (voiced by Reddick) as he sets off on a mission to rescue a Bureau of Paranormal Research and Defense agent who has mysteriously gone missing.

The agent vanished during an expedition to a strange mansion known as the Butterfly House. Hellboy has now returned to the scene to find them.
The Butterfly House is somehow linked to the Wyrd – a realm of supernatural entities teeming with powerful secrets. Hellboy needs to now navigate the realm while facing off against the demons and creatures that call it home.
According to Upstream Arcade, Hellboy: Web of Wyrd is set within the universe created by Mike Mignola. It is also canon to the series and features an original story created by Mignola himself. The game features a unique comic book art style that recreates the comic’s German Expressionist design and style.
We know that Hellboy: Web of Wyrd is a roguelike but we don’t know much else about the gameplay mechanics at this point. Even the trailer did little to showcase what players can expect.
Hellboy: Web of Wyrd is expected to launch on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC sometime in the future. Watch the trailer below.
