Rugby fans are being treated to Rugby 22, which launches today for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC. To celebrate the game’s launch, developer EKO Software and publishers Nacon and BigBen Interactive have revealed a new trailer showing the game’s visuals, familiar but fresh gameplay, players and teams.
Rugby 22 is available right now for most major consoles and PC. Rugby fans have been looking forward to this year’s release as it promises reworked AI, a new difficulty mode, tighter controls, and a wide variety of national teams to choose from across their 2021/22 rugby season. Gameplay videos released earlier this week, such as France vs New Zealand, showed off the improved gameplay and enhanced visuals.

Over on Rugby 22‘s official website, Nacon describes the game as one for the fans, including the ability to manage your own team and take them to the top. Players will also get to choose from over 50 official teams:
“Rugby 22 offers a true rugby experience with a deep tactical system and authenticity that recreates the intensity of the sport’s big matches. Lead your players to victory in tournaments, official leagues and a Career Mode in which you can create and manage your own team. Play with a wide range of official clubs and national teams featuring this season’s players and kits.”
If you’re looking to play Rugby 22 on PC, the website also provides the minimum and recommended system requirements needed to enjoy the sports game on your rig. Fortunately, they aren’t too intense and mid-range PCs should have an okay time running the game. Furthermore, it will require around 26 GB of space to install, which we presume is applicable to consoles as well.
Rugby 22 is now available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
