Saints Row Goes Gold Ahead of Release This August

Saints Row, the upcoming reboot of the beloved open-world action series, has officially gone gold a month ahead of its release this August. The official Saints Row Twitter account shared the news recently, confirming that it has gone gold with a short clip to celebrate.

The Saints Row Twitter account, in addition to making the announcement, also shared a link for players to pre-order the game. It’s scheduled to release on 23 August 2022 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC, meaning it’s already set to ship.

The official website for Saints Row provides a description of the game:

“Welcome to Santo Ileso, a vibrant fictional city in the heart of the American SouthWest. In a world rife with crime, where lawless factions fight for power, a group of young friends embark on their own criminal venture, as they rise to the top in their bid to become Self Made.

Experience the biggest and best Saints Row playground ever created; the unique sprawling world of Santo Ileso is the backdrop for a wild, larger than life sandbox of thrilling side hustles, criminal ventures and blockbuster missions, as you shoot, drive, and wingsuit your way to the top.”

If you’re excited for Saints Row and want to experience the game (or at least a vertical slice of it) ahead of release, you’ll be able to download the Boss Factory demo across consoles and PC, which gives you access to the game’s extensive character creation. You can make your ideal Boss from an assortment of customisation options. Your custom-created character will then be transferred to the full game when it releases next month.

Saints Row is set to release on 23 August 2022 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
