Samsung has announced its 2025 TV lineup at CES 2025, and the company is throwing all its AI marketing into one range. The company says its anti-glare screen coating is also expanding to new TV models. Previously, this glare-free display was limited to the high-end OLED Samsung TVs, but in 2025, the Mini-LED TVs will also be getting the treatment.
Samsung is leading the 2025 lineup with its new S95F QD-OLED. Samsung claims this OLED TV is capable of reaching 4,000 nits of brightness. It comes with the anti-glare screen coating, which Samsung says has been “improved” over the previous model to further reduce glare from lamps and sunlight. The TV also comes with a 165Hz panel for gaming.
Samsung is also adding the glare-free panel to the Neo QLED TV range in 2025. The flagship 4K QN90F and 8K QN90F are both getting the anti-glare screen. However, apart from the OLED S95F and QN90F, all the other Samsung TVs in 2025 will have “normal” panels. So if you’re not into the new anti-glare panels, which many users claim reduce the image quality of the TV, you can simply go for another TV.
Samsung is shipping the QN90F Mini-LED Neo QLED TV in a massive 115-inch size. This is 15-inches larger than last year’s QN80F. There’s also a new Samsung Frame Pro TV. This new arty TV comes with Mini-LED technology, but the lights are situated at the bottom of the TV instead of behind the panel. Samsung says this has been done to improve the accuracy of colour and dimming levels in artworks.
All the new 2025 TVs will also come with Vision AI. This is Samsung’s new AI-powered TV tools. Vision AI includes the usual AI tweaks we have already seen in TVs for the past decade. Some of which include AI upscaling, Auto HDR Remastering, Adaptive Sound Pro, and a Click to Search feature. This lets users identify actors on-screen, clothes you see in certain movies and TV shows, and other products.
One cool feature of Click to Search is the ability to search for certain food you see on the TV. The search then results in recipes on how to make the food yourself.
While the AI features seem like nothing new, Samsung is adding a new AI button to the remote of all supported TVs. So you can easily press the button and engage in all these AI features. There are also some new AI security features which include:
Samsung AI Home Security transforms your TV into a smart security hub. It analyzes video feeds from your connected cameras and audio from your TV’s microphone to provide comprehensive home monitoring. It can detect unusual sounds and movements, such as falls or break-ins, to give you more peace of mind whether you’re at home, or away. You’ll receive alerts and notifications on your phone or directly on your TV screen, helping you stay connected to your home while ensuring the safety and well-being of your loved ones.
