Samsung has announced its new range of Galaxy A smartphones including the A52, A52 5G and A72. Like previous years, the Samsung Galaxy A range aims to be the “affordable” smartphone from the tech giant and this year is no different.

while the price tags on these phones are below R10k, the feature set makes it seem otherwise. The Samsung Galaxy A52 boasts a 90Hz refresh rate with the quad rear camera array while the A72 includes similar specs but with some enhancements to the optical zoom and of course, the larger display.

There’s also a Samsung Galaxy A52 5G that is the best of the best when it comes to the new Galaxy A range. Of course, it includes 5G support but it also packs a 120Hz display giving it that extra bump in spec.

Samsung Galaxy A52 and A72 South African Pricing and Release Date

So when can South Africans pick up the new Samsung Galaxy A52, A52 5G and A72? Samsung says that the new devices will range from R7,999 for the Galaxy A52 to R9,999 for the Galaxy A72 in South Africa.
