Samsung will officially announce its new range of foldable devices on 26 July during a special Unpacked event. The event will undoubtedly play host to the already-leaked Galaxy Fold 5 and Flip 5 smartphones.
Samsung has called the event “On the Flip Side”. It is taking place in Seoul, South Korea for the first time. Of course, you can tune into the event on YouTube starting at 13:00 CAT / 7 am ET / 4 am PT / 12 pm BST.

The event won’t only play host to the new Samsung Galaxy Fold 5 and Flip 5. Samsung will also announce its new Galaxy Watch 6 and a new range of Galaxy Tab S9 devices.
We know that the Samsung Galaxy Fold 5 will now feature a crease-free and gap-free fold. We don’t know if Samsung has improved the fold on the Galaxy Flip 5 yet. We also know that Samsung will likely include an irregular heart rhythm function in the new Galaxy Watch. This will work with the Galaxy Watch’s ECG feature to monitor heart rhythms.
Samsung has also made improvements to the camera system on both the Galaxy Flip and Fold. However, specific details have yet to be confirmed. You can watch the event on YouTube or on its website on the day. We will share the announcements as soon as they happen.
