Samsung has announced its full 2022 flagship phone range. At no surprise, this year’s rage is called the Samsung Galaxy S22 and includes the standard S22, larger S22+ and beastly S22 Ultra. There’s also a handful of new tablets coming out in the new Galaxy Tab S8 range.
While the general design of the Galaxy S22 and S22+ range has remained the same, Samsung has incorporated some new features across the internal hardware and software. The Galaxy S22 Ultra, on the other hand, has officially replaced Samsung’s Note device and is fully compatible with the S-Pen. It even has a place to store it this time around. Unlike last year’s S21 Ultra that required a specific case to store the S-Pen away in.
Across the range, users can look forward to AMOLED displays at 120Hz, larger camera sensors, more storage, bigger battery life and more. The S22 Ultra even comes in a 1TB storage option and has seen the biggest design change. Now, the camera array sits flush inside the device’s shell meaning it doesn’t stick out of the back at all. This means the S22 Ultra is a bit thicker but easier to use and store away.
