A week ahead of the official reveal for the Samsung Galaxy S20, the company has gone and leaked the device themselves by posting cases online before the phone was announced. Samsung released a set of marketing images showing off a fancy new LED case but it is quite clear that the images were not meant to go live until next week.

The leaked marketing images were posted on Samsung’s online store and were pulled offline pretty fast but not fast enough to prevent people from snapping screenshots of the listings. Samsung has had a knack for leaking their own smartphones. The company leaked last year’s Note 10 and Note 10 Plus the day before the reveal.
The images confirm everything we have reported on in the past few weeks including the hole-punch display and the rectangular camera system at the back. Most of all, it confirms the name will indeed be the Samsung Galaxy S20 and not the S12 as many predicted.
The leaked images also show the front of the device. According to rumours, the display will feature a 120Hz refresh rate but we will have to wait for the official reveal to see this in action.
Samsung will be announcing the Galaxy S20 range next week on 11 February 2020. The company is also said to show off the new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip which also leaked on Monday in a full hands-on video. At this rate, the Unpacked event is going to be quite a snore-fest.
