One of the absolute highlights of watching Marvel’s Moon Knight on Disney+ while it aired was searching for the QR codes carefully hidden in each episode. Once scanned with a mobile device, these QR codes would lead you to a special hidden page on Marvel’s website that would allow you to read a pre-chosen Moon Knight comic for free. Now, with the premiere of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, we can happily state that the quest for free comics is once again on.
In collaboration with “Marvel Unlimited”, Marvel’s very own comic book subscription service, each week will have a QR code featured somewhere in the background of the show, leading to a new She-Hulk comic book. None of the comics found through the QR codes will require you to signup to the service to be able to read. However, you will find a discount code for 90% off one month of Marvel Unlimited for new subscribers attached to each comic.
One of the only downsides to this comic book scavenger hunt is how tricky some codes can be to scan, but if you’re having difficulty, check back here each week. We’ll keep this list updated each week as a new QR code gets revealed, and we will include the link to the comics for those who struggle to scan the codes.
She-Hulk – Free Comic Books
Episode One – A Normal Amount Of Rage
Following Moon Knight’s footsteps, the first episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law had a little extra surprise for eagle-eyed viewers – a free comic book hiding behind a scannable QR code included in the episode. Also, not unlike Moon Knight, this QR code can be a little tricky to scan, so if you’re having difficulty, you can click the link here.
The first She-Hulk comic book Marvel made available is The Savage She-Hulk #1 from 1980, a comic by Stan Lee. The comic contains the first appearance of Jennifer Walters and covers her origin story. If you’d never had the joy of diving into some of the most entertaining comics around then, this is a great place to start.
