Developer NeoBards Entertainment and publisher Konami have revealed the official PC system requirements for Silent Hill F, the upcoming new main entry in the long-running horror series. For the most part, the minimum and recommended specs look pretty modest, not requiring the absolute top-of-the-range GPU and CPU to run the game. The install size isn’t too bad either, clocking in at only 50 GB required storage space.
If you plan on meeting the minimum requirements for Silent Hill F, you’ll only need a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 5700, while recommended specs require a (relatively) lenient GeForce RTX 2080 or Radeon RX 6800XT.

- Sound Card: Windows Compatible Audio Device.
- Additional Notes: Playing on minimum requirements should enable to play on Performance quality settings in 30 at 720p. SSD is recommended.

- Additional Notes: Playing on recommended requirements should enable to play on Performance settings in 60 FPS or Quality settings in 30 FPS at FullHD (or 4k using DLSS or similar technology). SSD required.
Konami recently held a Transmission event focusing on Silent Hill F. Set in Japan during the 1960s, it marks quite a drastic shift from the usual setting we’re accustomed to seeing in the games. However, if the gory and disturbing details from the ESRB rating is anything to go by, then it seems like Silent Hill F will still deliver on the psychological scares and difficult subject matter.
Silent Hill F releases sometime in 2025 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
