Silent Hill PS5 Reboot Reveal Set For The Game Awards 2020 – Rumour

The much-rumoured Silent Hill PS5 exclusive reboot seems to have crept back into the news. For the past few months, we have heard from insiders that Sony is indeed working alongside Konami on this Silent Hill PS5 reboot. In addition, the game was originally meant to debut earlier this year during the September PS5 showcase but it never happened. This could be due to multiple factors. One being the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the other could be due to Resident Evil 8: Village taking the spotlight when it comes to horror games this year.

Previous reports claim this Silent Hill PS5 reboot is meant to release sometime in 2022 so it is possible Konami and Sony are waiting for the right time to announce and date the game. While many users have blatantly disregarded the game’s existence, there’s been way too much talk about it behind the scene for it to not be true.

As always take this as it comes until an official announcement happens. The Game Awards take place on 11 December 2020 so we don’t have long to wait to see whether or not this business analyst was correct.
